Life as a National Champion in Equestrian Endeavors

After finding herself in a barn on her 11th birthday, Heffner chose never to leave. Heffner has competed nationally in the Arabian Horse Association's saddleseat competitions across the country, become a volunteer and advocate for equine-assisted therapy, and continues to find the horses wherever she is. Before starting her graduate education, Heffner was a riding instructor and program director, preparing athletes to accomplish all of their goals.
